Three Railway Stations Renovated in Ulytau Region

The reconstruction of three railway stations—Karazhal, Zhanaarka, and Kyzylzhar—has been completed in the Ulytau region.

During the project's implementation, a comprehensive set of construction and installation works was carried out at all facilities. This included roof installation, exterior and interior finishing of the buildings, modernization of water supply, sewerage, heating, and power supply engineering networks, as well as the reconstruction of passenger platforms. Modern, durable, and fire-safe materials of Kazakhstani production were used for the finishing works. New emergency exits were also installed in accordance with fire safety regulations. The stations are now equipped with new furniture and modern equipment.

The Karazhal railway station, built in 1958, is now a modern building covering an area of 395.94 square meters after its reconstruction. Two passenger trains run through the station, providing rail connections to Karaganda.

The Zhanaarka station, built in 1971, was renovated while preserving the existing building structure, which spans 315.1 square meters. Twelve passenger trains pass through the station, connecting it to Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Zhezkazgan, Pavlodar, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, and Beyneu.

The Kyzylzhar station, built in 2012, was renovated while keeping its building area of 103.8 square meters. Ten passenger trains pass through the station, providing links to Astana, Almaty, Karaganda, Zhezkazgan, Pavlodar, Kyzylorda, Mangistau, and Beyneu.

The reconstruction of these stations aims to improve passenger service quality, create a comfortable and safe environment, and ensure the accessibility of railway infrastructure. The updated stations meet modern transport infrastructure requirements and will contribute to the further development of the region's railway network.
