Spring inspection commission begins at KTZ

Spring inspection commissions have begun at KTZ branches and subsidiaries.

From March 26 to April 23, inspections are taking place in the southern and western regions. In the northern and eastern regions of East Kazakhstan Oblast, they will take place from April 13 to May 12.

The inspection is part of the infrastructure preparation for the summer transportation season. During the inspection, the technical condition of rolling stock, track, and infrastructure, as well as the condition of facilities and technical equipment, are assessed.

This work is aimed at improving train safety and compliance with occupational health, safety, and fire safety requirements. Particular attention is paid to the working conditions of employees.

Commissions have been formed in the regions, schedules have been approved, and specialist visits have been arranged.

Flood prevention measures are also being implemented to ensure the safety of train traffic and the stable operation of the railway infrastructure. In flood-prone areas, culverts are being cleared, the roadbed is being reinforced, and 24-hour monitoring of water levels and track conditions is underway.

Emergency teams have been formed and the necessary equipment has been prepared to promptly respond to potential risks.

Forty-five anti-washout trains are on constant alert, designed to quickly respond to potential flooding and ensure train safety. These special trains are equipped with the necessary equipment and inert materials.
