Security measures at railway facilities have been beefed up

VZhDO personnel prevented a number of violations at railway transport facilities.

At the Kazaly station, a mobile rapid response team from the Turkestan branch of VZhDO, together with officers from the Linear Police Department, detained a GAZelle vehicle carrying structural elements of rolling stock in its cargo bed.

At the Balyktykol station, a mobile response team from the Semey branch of the VZhDO detained an Audi. Canisters of diesel fuel intended for illegal export were found inside the vehicle.

The detainees have been handed over to law enforcement agencies. A pre-trial investigation is underway.
