Reconstruction of the Station Building Completed at the Kazaly Railway Station

In the Kyzylorda Region, the reconstruction of the railway station at the Kazaly station, originally built in 1903, has been completed. Following the reconstruction, the total floor area of the building is 1,014 square meters.

During the works, the station building was completely renovated. The roof was replaced, both exterior and interior finishing were completed, engineering networks were modernized, the surrounding area and the platform were landscaped, and modern equipment and furniture were installed.

The facade of the building is clad with durable travertine, and the plinth is made of Kazakhstani-produced granite tiles. Modern aluminum curtain walls featuring a "warm" stick-built (mullion-transom) system with energy-saving, domestically manufactured double-glazed windows were installed, which increased the natural light levels and energy efficiency of the building. Modern thermal insulation materials were applied during the roofing works.

The Kazaly railway station is classified as Class II. The average daily passenger traffic is around 375 people. Twenty-four passenger trains run through the station, connecting it with Almaty, Astana, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Aktobe, the Mangistau region, and Oral, as well as with Russia, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

The completed reconstruction has enhanced the level of comfort and safety for passengers, improved the facility's accessibility, and brought the station into compliance with modern operational and energy efficiency requirements.
