The progress of the Bakhty-Ayagoz project was discussed in Beijing

Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, held a meeting with the management of CCCC Corporation, represented by Zhang Bingnan.

The key topic of the negotiations was the importance of increasing the intensity of work and adhering to project completion deadlines. The Chairman of the Management  Board of KTZ also emphasized the critical importance of engaging local construction companies and specialists, and purchasing construction materials from Kazakhstani manufacturers. CCCC Corporation management assured that necessary measures would be taken to ensure the work schedule was met and that local companies would be involved in the project.

As a reminder, an EPC contract was previously signed in August 2025 between JSC NC KTZ and CCCC subsidiary China Harbour Engineering Company Co., Ltd.

The implementation of the Bakhty-Ayagoz project will significantly increase throughput capacity between Kazakhstan and China.
