Over 28,000 passengers have purchased tickets through the "Waiting List" service this year

Since the beginning of 2026, passengers have been offered 84,000 available seats through the "Waiting List" service, of which over 28,000 tickets have been purchased. Since the service's launch, 2.4 million seats have been offered to passengers, with 872,000 tickets purchased.

The service allows passengers to join a waiting list online if there are no available seats on their desired train. If a seat becomes available, they will receive a notification in their personal account and an SMS notification about the ticket purchase requirement.

You can submit an application:
- on the website bilet.railways.kz;
- at JSC Passenger Transportation ticket offices.
Applications must be submitted no earlier than 7 days and no later than 1 hour before train departure.

The queue is formed automatically, without manual intervention. The system has mechanisms in place to protect against mass searches and ticket purchases.
