Next phase of modernization completed on Kandyagash–Tobol railway section

As part of the modernization of the country's railway infrastructure, 1,781 km of the network has been upgraded out of the 3,000 km of planned sections. The volume of completed work stands at 60%.

The third phase of modernization on the Kandyagash–Tobol railway section has been finished. Within its framework, the 3rd launch complex with a length of 144 km was completed.

A comprehensive set of works to upgrade train traffic control systems was carried out on the section. Four new passing loops were connected to the microprocessor-based centralized control system. At another four existing siding stations, the existing signaling was integrated with digital automatic block signaling.

The completed works will increase the capacity and reliability of the railway infrastructure, raise train speeds, and create additional conditions for the development of freight transport and the country's transit potential.
