National Carrier Launches Four Dining Cars on Additional Talgo Trains

NC Passenger Transportation JSC is launching dining cars on four additional Talgo trains for the summer travel season. This initiative will expand dining service options and provide passengers with more comfortable travel conditions.

During the summer season, dining cars have begun operating on the following train routes:

• No. 254/253 Astana (Nurly Zhol) – Dostyk;
• No. 211/212 Almaty-2 – Dostyk;
• No. 207/208 Almaty-2 – Dostyk;
• No. 231/232 Almaty-2 – Semey.
   

Passengers have access to a wide selection of food and beverages, including hot meals, soups, salads, pastries, desserts, and a special children's menu. The assortment is tailored to passenger preferences, ensuring convenient dining during the journey.

Additionally, in the ToiPass dining cars operating on Talgo trains, passengers can use a delivery service directly to their compartments. To place an order, passengers can simply message via WhatsApp at +7 771 761 4099 or contact their train attendant. Orders are accepted daily from 08:00 to 24:00.

To date, catering services are available on 51 routes of the National Carrier:

• 23 dining cars on Talgo trains;
• 10 dining cars on brand-name (corporate) trains;
• 11 dining cars on standard trains;
• 7 buffet cars.
   

The National Carrier expands its range of passenger services annually. A key focus of this effort is developing the on-board catering system to enhance travel comfort.
