KTZ reminds passengers of rail travel rules ahead of the May holidays
30-04-2026
JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy urges passengers to comply with travel rules.
According to statistics, peak loads on rail transport traditionally occur during public holidays, weekends, and school breaks. During these periods, passenger traffic increases significantly, requiring travelers to pay special attention to travel rules.
KTZ once again reminds passengers of prohibited actions on trains:
1. Traveling without a ticket
Passengers are prohibited from remaining in the carriage without a valid ticket. Conductors have the right to demand a ticket at any time. Without a ticket, passengers will be disembarked from the train at the next station.
2. Transporting children without supporting documents
Transporting a child without identification documents or proof of parental affiliation is not permitted. Passengers without the required documents may be denied boarding.
3. Carrying unchecked baggage without prepayment
Carrying baggage exceeding the established allowance (more than 35 kg per passenger) without prepayment and proper documentation is prohibited.
4. Carrying animals without appropriate documents
Carrying animals without veterinary documents is strictly prohibited. Passengers without the required documents will be denied boarding.
5. Smoking is prohibited on trains
Smoking is strictly prohibited on trains, including the use of both regular cigarettes and electronic smoking devices.
6. Unnecessary use of the emergency brake is prohibited
Unjustified use of the emergency brake is strictly prohibited. This may disrupt the train's schedule, create inconvenience for other passengers, and result in administrative liability.
7. Carrying prohibited substances
The carriage of narcotics, explosives, or sharp objects is strictly prohibited. If such violations are detected, passengers will be referred to law enforcement.
8. Displaying aggression or creating conflict situations
Any form of physical or psychological violence, including verbal abuse, is strictly prohibited. Violating this rule may result in the passenger being removed from the train at the next station.
9. Exiting a moving train
Such actions are extremely dangerous to life and health and constitute a violation of the rules. Please note that trains may only be exited at stations and only through designated doors.
10. Littering a train car or damaging property
Vandalism, littering train cars, and damaging the property of JSC Passenger Transportation (a subsidiary of KTZ) are strictly prohibited and may result in the passenger being removed from the route.
These requirements are established in accordance with the Rules for the Carriage of Passengers, Baggage, and Cargo Baggage by Rail. KTZ asks all passengers to strictly adhere to these rules. Safety and comfort on the train are the shared responsibility of each passenger.
If passengers have questions about the quality of service and the services provided on National Carrier trains, they can use the following feedback methods:
Send a message on WhatsApp to +7 776 714 5686;
Scan the QR code located in the carriages to access the WhatsApp chat and send a message directly to the operator;
