06-01-2026
In 2025, as part of the Sanitary and Living Conditions Improvement Program, routine repairs were carried out on the administrative and living building of the Astana power supply division of JSC NC KTZ — the Main Grid Directorate.
The building's façade was renovated, bringing it into full compliance with the design standards for administrative and living quarters. The surrounding area was landscaped, interior spaces were reconstructed, and external water supply and sewerage networks were replaced, creating a comfortable and safe working environment.
To mark the division's 90th anniversary, a new alley with a recreation area was opened: trees were planted, creating a cozy space for employees and guests.
The implementation of these measures helped create favorable working conditions for the team, ensuring an optimal combination of comfort, functionality, and corporate style. In 2025, as part of the KTZ-Freight Transportation LLC social program, major repairs were completed and 15 facilities were commissioned. Specifically, work was completed at 13 locomotive crew rest homes located at the Arka, Yesil, Otar, Beineu, Matai, Atbasar, Dostyk, Ganyushkino, Kyzylzhar, Agadyr, Atyrau, Sagiz, and Uralsk stations.
In addition, major repairs were completed at the locomotive maintenance facility (LMF) at Astana station and the depot office building at Yesil station.
For the first time in the history of KTZ-Freight Transportation LLC, a modern locomotive maintenance facility is being constructed at the Karaganda-Sortirovochnaya station. The new facility will become an important element of the production infrastructure and will improve the efficiency of locomotive fleet maintenance, ensuring reliable connections between the regions of Kazakhstan. Concurrently, major repairs are ongoing at the Tobol station diesel locomotive depot buildings, workshops TO-2 and TO-3, as well as at service and amenity facilities (administrative and amenity building and locomotive crew rest house) at Kokshetau station and at the locomotive crew rest house at Kandyagash station.
Under the 2025 budget, routine repairs have been completed at 18 buildings and structures. The 2026 capital investment plan includes major repairs at 34 facilities and routine repairs at 26 facilities.
The implementation of these projects will significantly improve sanitary and working conditions, enhance occupational safety, create a favorable work environment, and enhance the efficiency and reliability of the transportation process.
