KTZ implements digital station management platform

As part of its digital transformation strategy, JSC "NC "KTZ" has commenced the phased implementation of the automated management system AMS "Station-Hub." The project has kicked off at stations within the Almaty Trunk Network Department.

The use of an in-house digital platform is designed to ensure the continuity of ongoing production processes. AMS "Station-Hub" will significantly increase the level of information security across KTZ's IT landscape, laying a reliable foundation for the implementation of future corporate automation projects.

The new platform was developed by JSC "NC "KTZ." The direct technical implementation of the project, including database integration and comprehensive user support, is carried out by the company's branch, the Main Computing Center. Methodological supervision and process coordination are provided by the Department of Transportation Technological Systems of the JSC "NC "KTZ" branch – the Transportation Directorate.

The Almaty Trunk Network Department is serving as the launchpad for rolling out this technology. Upon completion of this phase, according to the approved schedule and taking into account the volume of shunting and train operations performed, the system is planned to be implemented step-by-step at stations in the Zhambyl, Akmola, and Karaganda Trunk Network Departments.

Shifting key station management functions to an in-house IT base means creating an independent, secure, and flexible ecosystem for transportation process management. This technological solution fully meets the long-term development goals of the transport and logistics industry, as well as the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
