KTZ сontinues turnout renewal on mainline network

The Mainline Network Directorate, a branch of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy" (KTZ), is continuing its scheduled replacement of turnouts. The work is being carried out as part of a program to renew railway infrastructure and is aimed at improving train traffic reliability and safety.

Since the beginning of the year, 466 turnouts have been replaced across the railway network. In total, 1,018 turnouts are planned to be upgraded by the end of the year, with 46% of the annual plan completed to date.

Turnout replacement is one of the key elements of railway infrastructure maintenance.

The work is progressing in accordance with the approved schedule and will be completed within the established timeframes.
