KTZ and PNP Investment Management Discussed Developing Cooperation

A working meeting was held in Astana between Yerlan Koishibayev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC “Kazakhstan Temir Zholy”, and the management of the investment company PNP Investment Management S.a.r.l.

PNP Investment Management S.a.r.l. is a European investment company specializing in asset management and the implementation of infrastructure and logistics projects in Europe and the Eurasian region. The company views the transport and logistics industry as a priority area for long-term investment.

During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues related to the development of Kazakhstan's transport and logistics sector in the context of strengthening its role as a key transit hub in Eurasia. Particular attention was paid to the development of international transport corridors, including the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.

Potential for expanding cooperation with European partners aimed at developing sustainable transport chains and increasing freight volumes was also discussed.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in developing their partnership and agreed to continue the substantive development of joint initiatives.
