KTZ accelerates mainline digital transformation in partnership with Huawei

Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "NC "KTZ", held a working meeting with Huawei's management team, represented by Qu Lei, Enterprise Business Director for Central Asia. The parties discussed the ongoing deployment of advanced digital technologies and smart solutions aimed at the deep modernization of Kazakhstan's railway infrastructure.

KTZ's primary objective within this strategic dialogue is to accelerate the digitalization of transport corridors, enhance train traffic safety, and establish a high-tech IT platform for freight traffic management.

During the meeting, the sides held detailed discussions on implementing modern telecommunication systems and wireless data transmission across the entire mainline network; integrating cloud-based solutions and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for predictive infrastructure maintenance; launching joint pilot projects to develop "smart stations" and automated dispatch centers.
