JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy held its first-ever republican children's futsal tournament

JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir is expanding the horizons of its support for youth sports by organizing its first-ever large-scale Republican Futsal Tournament among youth teams. The project is aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, strengthening interregional ties, and discovering young talents across the country.

Eleven teams participated in this debut championship. The organizers formed a well-balanced lineup of participants, giving both capital city youngsters and regional teams an opportunity to showcase their skills: 7 teams represented the city of Astana, creating intense competition on their home pitches, while 4 teams arrived from the regions (Akmola, Kostanay, and Karaganda regions, as well as Kiik Station). The participation of young footballers from remote locations became a special highlight and a significant social achievement of the tournament.

For the first time, the company elevated its sports initiatives to such a high republican level within the children's segment, creating a fully-fledged professional competition atmosphere for the youth.

The main sensation and the most inspiring story of the tournament was the victory of the team from the small Kiik Station.

Bekzhan Sovet, a remarkable individual who serves as the senior electromechanic of Kiik Station, an activist, a volunteer, and a participant in the prestigious corporate project "100 Young Faces of KTZ," led the youngsters to this historic gold.Bekzhan coaches the local children on a completely voluntary basis, investing his personal time, energy, and soul into them.

"When we were just traveling to Astana, we were already happy to have received such a chance. But the fact that our boys from Kiik Station took first place brings simply incredible, indescribable emotions! I am immensely proud of each of my fighters. As a participant in the '100 Young Faces of KTZ' project and a volunteer, I have always believed that sincere hard work and dedication to your cause can work miracles. Our victory proves that it does not matter where you come from—whether a metropolis or a small station. If you work hard and truly love what you do, you will definitely be first," shared a beaming Bekzhan Sovet.

Following the results of uncompromising and spectacular matches, the "Dostyk" team (Astana) claimed the honorable third place and bronze medals, the young footballers from "Tarlan" (Astana) confidently secured the silver, and the Kiik Station team (Karaganda) emerged as the absolute champions and the first-ever winners of the KTZ republican tournament.
