02-07-2026

The reconstruction of the Shyngyrlau railway station building, originally constructed in 1936, has been completed in the West Kazakhstan region. The project was carried out in accordance with directives from the Head of State and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on transportation infrastructure development.

As a result of the reconstruction, the facility's floor area has increased from 290.79 to 313.11 square meters. The station has been completely modernized: both interior and exterior finishes have been renewed, the roofing and engineering networks replaced, new furniture and advanced equipment installed, and the surrounding grounds landscaped.

Domestic silicate bricks were used for the facade cladding, while modern soundproofing materials were applied in the interior finish. All core building materials utilized during the reconstruction were manufactured in Kazakhstan.

The upgraded station meets modern standards for safety, comfort, and passenger accessibility, including for persons with reduced mobility.

Eight passenger trains operate through Shyngyrlau station, providing connections to Astana, Almaty, the Mangystau region, as well as the Russian Federation.

The station's reconstruction was funded by NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC from its own resources as part of the railway infrastructure modernization program.
