First-ever TITR back-loading organized: container train dispatched from Turkey to China via Kazakhstan

This initiative was carried out by KTZ Express JSC, a subsidiary of KTZ, in collaboration with the Turkish company Pasifik Eurasia Lojistik Dış Ticaret A.Ş.

The container train traveled along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) following the route: Izmir (Turkey) – Port of Aktau – Altynkol station – Chengxiang (Fujian Province, China).

The train consisted of 50 forty-foot containers carrying household refrigerators. The transit time through the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the Port of Aktau – Altynkol station section was 83 hours.

The implementation of this project confirms the growing demand for the Middle Corridor as an efficient and competitive solution for organizing eastbound transport — from Turkey and European countries to China.As a reminder, by the end of 2025, the volume of transportation between Kazakhstan and Turkey increased by 34%.
