An event dedicated to the World Day for Safety and Health at Work was held at KTZ

The event recognized employees who have made significant contributions to ensuring industrial safety and developing a work culture.
Opening the ceremony Director of the Industrial Safety and Environment Department at JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy Adilbay Semenov emphasized the importance of each employee's personal responsibility for compliance with safety requirements.
"Each award presented today is recognition of professionalism and responsibility. Safety is the result of joint efforts and daily discipline. Only through employee engagement can we move forward and achieve results," he noted.
World Day for Safety and Health at Work unites millions of people worldwide around the key goal of preserving the lives and health of workers. The International Labour Organization officially established this day in 2003, giving it global status.
For JSC NC KTZ, given the high-risk nature of its operations, occupational safety is a matter of utmost importance.
During the ceremony, the following employees were awarded letters of gratitude from the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KTZ:
- Roza Ainabekova, Manager of the Occupational Safety and Health Department, JSC NC KTZ's Main Line Directorate branch, for contribution to the development of training programs and the digitalization of PPE processes;
- Amangeldy Maksymberdiev, Head of the Occupational Safety and Environment Service, JSC NC KTZ's Mangistau Main Line Branch, for her systematic work to strengthen industrial discipline and safety;
- Murad Nogayev, Master of the Technology Group, Loading and Unloading Complex, JSC NC "Aktau International Sea Trade Port", for professionalism and contribution to the development of the trade union movement and occupational safety;
- Daniyar Umurtayev, Head of the Occupational Safety and Health Service at Kedentransservice JSC, Dostyk Station — for practical contributions to ensuring safe working conditions;
- Askhat Nigmetov, Chief Occupational Safety and Health Manager, Technical Policy Department, Kaztemirtrans JSC — for high professionalism and developing a safety culture;
- Adiylzhan Nurzhanuly, Leading Occupational Safety and Health Engineer, Temirzholsu-Almaty LLP — for contributions to developing a safety culture;
- Irina Druzhinina, Safety and Environment Manager, Passenger Transportation, Suburban Transportation JSC — for developing a safety culture and mentoring;
- Moldir Yernazarova, Occupational Safety and Health Engineer, Vagonservice JSC, Kyzylorda Station — for proactive approach to safety issues;
- Viktor Ponomarev, Head of the Mobile Diagnostic Laboratory at the Track Diagnostics Center, a branch of JSC NC KTZ, for his many years of conscientious work and contribution to ensuring the safety of railway infrastructure.
