From Ekibastuz to the UK: KTZ opens a new export route for Kazakhstani fertilizers

NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC has organized its first multimodal shipment of mineral fertilizers from Ekibastuz to the United Kingdom. Delivery is carried out via the Middle Corridor (Trans-Caspian International Transport Route – TITR) using rail and maritime transport. The route passes through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. From there, the cargo is sent by sea through the ports of Poti and Batumi to the Port of Felixstowe in the UK.

The new route has expanded the capability of domestic enterprises to supply products to the UK market. The use of the TITR ensures competitive delivery times, diversifies transport routes, and increases the sustainability of international supply chains.

NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC is systematically expanding the geography of international transportation. Previously, the company organized the export shipment of Kazakhstani products along the Ekibastuz – Miami route. Today, KTZ provides cargo delivery to the USA, the UK, Belgium, Poland, the Czech Republic, and other countries.
