"The summer season is traditionally accompanied by an increase in passenger traffic, especially toward resort areas and major cities. In total, more than 2,000 passenger carriages will be deployed during the summer period, including standard carriages, 'Talgo' trainsets, and electric trains. Of these, 86% are equipped with air conditioning systems. All carriages have undergone the necessary preparations, including technical inspection and sanitation," noted Diyar Nusipkozhanov, CEO of Passenger Transportation JSC.
Passenger trains comply with approved regulations for carriage cleaning and the provision of sanitary and hygienic products. A standard for equipping trains with soft, removable inventory is in place. On routes, passengers have access to a multimedia entertainment portal for watching movies and listening to music. For people with disabilities, specialized carriages and online ticket booking services, as well as station assistance requests, are provided.
Preparations for the summer season are conducted on a systemic basis. As part of annual working meetings involving the management of KTZ, Passenger Transportation JSC, tour operators, representatives of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and industry associations, issues regarding summer passenger transportation and the organization of additional routes are discussed.
