During a working visit on April 5, Talgat Aldybergenov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, inspected the construction of one of the country's largest infrastructure projects—the Moiynty-Kyzylzhar railway line.

The Moiynty-Kyzylzhar railway is a key component of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).The project's implementation will provide a powerful impetus to the dynamic development of the Trans-Kazakhstan Railway Route (TCRR) and the TITR (Middle Corridor). The railway project covers the Ulytau and Karaganda regions. The total length of the project is over 300 kilometers. The launch of the new line will reduce freight transportation distances by 149 kilometers, relieve congestion on the Moiynty-Zharyk section, and increase container train speeds.

The key stage of construction—forming the roadbed—is nearly complete. To date, 14.3 million cubic meters of roadbed have been poured, representing approximately 90% of the total volume. Thus, the basic foundation of the future highway has already been formed, allowing us to move on to the active phase of track laying.

In parallel, the assembly and laying of the track and sleeper grid is underway. Work is proceeding at a reciprocal pace from both the Moiynty and Kyzylzhar stations.

Construction of the utility infrastructure continues at a rapid pace. Culverts are nearly 50% complete. Construction of bridges, overpasses, and cattle crossings is also underway; their completion will ensure the continuity of track laying.
Over 1,500 specialists and over 580 pieces of equipment are involved in the project.

Following the working visit, adjustments have been made to the work plan and schedule at the direction of the Chairman of the Management Board of KTZ. This is necessary to accelerate construction at the site.

Furthermore, earlier on March 25, Talgat Aldybergenov also visited the key Darbaza-Maktaaral railway project. In the Turkestan region, active work is underway on the Darbaza-Maktaaral project, including roadbed filling, track laying, switch installation, utility structures and station construction, and other projects. The project aims to create an additional international railway corridor with Uzbekistan, redistribute freight traffic from the congested Saryagash-Tashkent section, increase throughput capacity, and expand transit to Central Asia. Its implementation is synchronized with the development of the North-South Corridor.
