Transit - transport potential of Kazakhstan presented to the OSCE in Vienna
The development of trade, transport and prospects of cooperation of the Eurasian transport corridors were discussed at the meeting of the economic and environmental Committee of the OSCE in Vienna.
The discussion was attended by representatives of the OSCE countries, the OSCE programs in Kazakhstan, United Nations Economic Comission for Europe (UNECE), the Baku international sea trade port.
the Executive Director of JSC "KTZ Express" S. Anashkin made a speech during the session.
He noted the importance of cooperation of countries - participants of OSCE in the development of transportation along the route of the New silk road and informed about the programs implemented in Kazakhstan.
Inside and outside, Kazakhstan develops a reference network of logistic centres for consolidation and distribution of cargo flows, creates favorable conditions to implement investment projects with involvement of the private sector.
S. Anashkin spoke about cooperation in organization of transportations on the TRANS-Caspian route (TITR), activities of the coordinating Council of TITR for improving the efficiency of multimodal transport.
OSCE experts noted the growing demand for transportation in the direction Europe – Asia and the importance of promoting data flows by improving customs procedures and export-import operations.
In addition, they discussed the prospects of cooperation in implementing projects in the field of Informatization and modernization of logistics services.
